The Guinean Educational Trust Fund (Guinea Trust) is an ambitious educational trust fund program created to encourage the Guinean diaspora in the US and friends of Guinea address the permanent challenges that young girls are facing in our Guinean communities in the U.S and in Guinea.The GWD will seek moral and financial support to help fund girls education in the State of Maryland as well as any other state in the U.S that is willing to provide scholarship in the community. Scholarship will also be provided to girls in Guinea. Guinea Trust will address challenges related to school enrollment of girls in Guinea and the Guinean educational system in general.
Mission
Guinea Trust’s mission is to collect, administer and distribute funds to our programs here in the U.S and on the ground in Guinra as well as to our trusted partners programs in order to help more Guinean girls get access to education and to improve the conditions of studies for young Guinean girls and women.
Goals
• To contribute to promoting the education of girls in the Guinean communities in the U.S and in Guinea
• To research and give scholarship access to Guinean girls primarily in the U.S, and in Guinea
• To help Guinean Women in the U.S get access to Training and credit certificate programs in the U.S
• To Create micro-economic projects for under privileged Women in Guinea
These categories of programs under Guinea Trust are administered in partnership with various entities sensitive to the cause of girls’ education and women empowerment in the Guinean communities in the U.S and in Guinea.
