- Guinean Women Development foundation, is an independent, nonprofit organization that began its work in 2009 as the Nimba Foundation and obtained it’s Tax Exempt status as Guinean Women Development in 2014 in the State of Maryland. The mission of the program is to have women and children and young ladies from all walks of life learn to appreciate and respect themselves, empower them through Education, Sport, leadership, mentorship for communities in the U.S, and in Guinea and support health care development programs, rural clinics and hospitals as well as support and teach women in starting micro economic projects.

- To commit to women empowerment , through Education, Mentorship, Leadership development skills, skills and knowledge development for young women and young girls , specially the Guinean women & girls
- To promote Sport, mentorship for communities in the U.S, and in Guinea and support health care development programs, rural clinics and hospitals as well as support and teach women in starting micro economic projects
- To Promote Peace, Education, Partnerships, Networking, among women globally
- To promote and protect women’s right, specially the Guinean Women & Girls
- To value and reward women’s efforts and contributions to the development of Guinea in the private and public sector
- To develop long-term and sustainable micro-economic projects managed by women in a transparent and progressive manner
- To promote diversity and raise awareness about the benefit of working with diverse institutions and individuals
- To recognize and encourage partnerships and alliances with organizations committed to the empowerment of women.
